November was a fun filled month. PoPo threw Aiden a Red Egg & Ginger party – we still don’t really know the ‘purpose’ of the party but we all had a great time with all of the family that came. We took a road trip down to San Luis Obispo to Pops and Mimi’s house for Thanksgiving. We explored all of the local haunts – got Aiden his first Moondoggies sweatshirt, had lunch at Firestone with Aaron and enjoyed sushi with Mimi and Pops at Yanagi. We had quite a feast and gave Aiden his first BBQ experience. Aiden got to meet Jamie and Ashley.
We spent a day taking Aiden around Santa Barbara and while he was quite fussy in Pascucci for lunch he decidedly slept right through wine tasting at Santa Barbara Winery and dinner with Toby at The Palace. We got to enjoy a lovely baby shower for our friends Andy and Jenn down in Fremont. We visited Jeff and Dawn on a trip down to the south bay and got lots of family time at the family brunch in Gilroy.
Here's something I got a while back on a invitation explaining the Reg Egg and Ginger Party. Hope it helps a bit......"The Chinese celebration is traditionally given by the grandparents to celebrate the grandbaby!
